Cherry Blossom Way Farms is a thriving organic, Non-GMO, self-sustaining year-round orchard, winery, vineyard, and meadery. Our vision is to grow and develop our farm where the community comes to learn about healthy happy living practices while enjoying their time amongst the orchard trees.
Our Story
Cherry Blossom Way Farms (CBW) was created by way of a lifelong dream. Through research and travel to visit all types of different wineries and meaderies around the country, it took a collector’s passion and allowed it to blossom into the joy of a farmer’s lifestyle.
It took over 10 years to find the right place to call home and locate the right property and acreage for this dream to come to life. One Sunday afternoon drive to a different property location, we stumbled upon 10+ acres of land and with one look, soft, warm spring air breeze home is where we landed.
Two days after locating the farm land to call home, we stopped at the honey stand at the end of a dirt road. The apiary owner made a deal to place bee hives on the land for trades of honey. During this enchanted encounter, the apiary owner shared a grand idea about this Fortune 500 up-and-coming product called mead that is derived from honey.
The apiary stated to go home and research, and so the research began. A few weeks later, the purchase of the first bucket of honey, equipment began, and the spark of honey wine & mead by grand design was created.
From July 2017 through 2019, honey wine experiments and planning took place, and currently, Cherry Blossom Way Farms owns 16 different flavors that are now aging.
On January 19, 2018, Cherry Blossom Way Farms officially found its home. The goal is to ultimately provide a community-based farm for healthy foods year-round, reduce the carbon footprint, and reduce poverty in our communities.
